Obama was asked by Oprah to give his first 11 months a grade. He gave himself a "B+," but indicated that he probably deserved a higher grade.
Let's see, he wanted to close Gitmo in the first year, but didn't have a plan in place to do so. Fail.
He passed a "stimulus" package that was liberal payouts and pork projects that didn't stimulate the economy but ran up our debt by a trillion dollars. Fail.
In February, he said the worst case scenario if we did nothing was that the unemployment rate might reach as high as 9 percent. With his policies we now have an employment rate of 10%, plus. Now, in December, he's decided to "focus" on jobs. Fail.
He promised no new taxes for the middle class, but immediately went to work on a Cap and Trade legislation that would cost the average middle class American over $2,000.
He's pushing for a health care plan that he says he will veto if it costs any additional money, funds abortions and pays for health care for illegal aliens, but of course, it will do all of those things. Fail.
He said that he would listen to his Generals in military decisions. He talked to the General in charge one time in his first six months, then decided to provide only three fourths of the minimum resources he said would be required to succeed. Fail.
So, what should Obama's grade be?
I don't see that he's even earned a D-. The only grade a thinking person can possibly give him is an "F".
